The catwalk will never be the same without Gisele Bundchen, so let’s sissy that walk and talk. 20 years ago the beautiful face of Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen was discovered and women’s lingerie was never the same! Okay, so she’s done MUCH more than just Victoria’s Secret, but the Brazilian beauty is famously known for that title. It was at Sao Paulo Fashion Week Wednesday night that Bundchen walked the runway in Brazilian label Colcci three times before taking her final bow. During that emotional last walk, Bundchen and the rest of the models all sashayed down sporting jeans and t-shirts with the model’s face on them. The weekend before Sao Paulo Fashion Week, Bundchen announced her retirement from runway modeling via Instagram, but made it a point to say she will still be working in the fashion industry. Bundchen says it’s the right time to retire and she wants to spend more time with her husband, Tom Brady, and two children; but before signing off for the night she Instagrammed another photo with the caption: “Speechless…thank you, thank you thank you.” Currently Gisele is the face of Chanel and Caroline Herrera, and she also has her own lingerie line. Oh and she was named Forbes highest paid model in 2014 with a whopping $47 million. I’m going to say she’s got quite the comfortable retirement account.
